What is Career coaching ?

Career coaching is a process that helps you (the client) identify your strengths and weaknesses, set goals, and develop a plan to achieve those goals.

It is a collaborative process between the coach and the client that helps the client gain clarity about their career path and take action to achieve their goals.

Benefits of Career coaching

Career coaching can help you assess your skills and knowledge and determine your value in the marketplace, plan out the trajectory of your career, overcome personal obstacles that may be influencing your life and work, develop a more positive mindset, learn critical skills required in today’s work environment, build confidence and define your value proposition, build a powerful and relevant resume, make informed decisions about the evolution of your career, set goals and build a roadmap to your destination, build connections, gain lifelong career skills, and even launch a career in a new field.

When is it useful ?

Career coaching is useful when you are looking for a job, considering a career change, or seeking to improve your performance in your current job.

Career coaching can also help you refine your job search strategy, improve your resume and cover letter, prepare for interviews, and negotiate salary and benefits. It can also help you develop new skills and knowledge that will make you more competitive in the job market.

Myths busted !

Some common misconceptions about career coaching include that it is expensive, only for people who are struggling in their careers or unemployed, and that it is a time-consuming process. However, career coaches can be helpful for people at all stages of their careers.
